Requirements

In order to work properly both WordPress and Magento should be installed on the same server (root folder).

Possible configurations:

1) Main blog + store

In this configuration, the Wordpress installation is in the root folder while the Magento Store is located in subfolder of the root

2) Main store + blog

In this configuration, the Magento installation is in the root folder while the Wordpress installation is located in subfolder of the root.

User Guide & Documentation

Installation

This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:

  • Download/purchase the extension
  • Unzip the file in a temporary directory
  • Copy folder "app" and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will NOT replace existing code.
  • Go to your admin panel and clear cache. Hit refresh on any of your Magento pages and you're done.

Working with the extension

Once installed extension needs to be activated. To activate custom invoice print follow these steps:

  1. 1) Go to System -> Configuration -> Anowave Extensions (Tab) -> Wordpress
  2. 2) Expand General settings tab and set "Enable single login" to "Yes"
  3. 3) Set your WordPress installation path

Workaround for known issues

If you get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare __() (previously declared in

  1. Open your Magento root folter and find functions.php located in app/code/core/Mage/Core/functions.php
  2. Go to line 95 and comment the entire function declaration. It's depreacted since version 1.3 so this won't affect your Magento installation
