Automatically connect and synchronize Magento CE with Vend Online POS software.
With Anowave's Magento Vend connector you can now send product, customer and sales data from Vend POS to any Magento installation and vise versa.
Data is automatically synced in two way direction so you'll no longer bother where to update your store data. You can now update on either Magento or Vend and data will be synced in between automatically for you.
Unlike other similar solutions, this is a standalone extension for Magento that requires NO monthly fees or whatsoever. Data synchronization works silently in the background without interfering with your normal update flow and/or Vend or Magento admin experience.

Installation
This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:
- Download/purchase the extension
- Unzip the file in a temporary directory
- Copy folder "app" and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will NOT replace existing code.
- Go to your admin panel and clear cache. Hit refresh on any of your Magento pages and you're done.
Important system updates & changes
This extension modifies the Magento EAV system by adding a few attributes which will appear in your products and customer edit page.
Find bellow a list of attributes added to products:
vend_sync - Dropdown to select whether products is synced with Vend or not
vend_id - Unique product ID provided by Vend
Find below a list of attributes added to customers:
vend_customer_sync - Dropdown to select whether customer is synced with Vend
vend_customer_id - Unique customer ID provided by Vend
Configuring automated cron task
In order to make the extension work automatically, the cron.php file located in the Magento root will need to be run periodically, for example every 15 minutes.
