Installation
This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:
- Download/purchase the extension
- Unzip the file in a temporary directory
- Copy folder "app" and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will NOT replace existing code.
- Go to your admin panel and clear cache. Hit refresh on any of your Magento pages and you're done.
Configuring labels
You need to configure the extension in order to have your labels appear on site. To do this, go to System -> Configuration -> Anowave Extensions (tab) -> Product labels configuration and enable the extension
Adding product labels
To create product label, follow the instructions below:
- 1) Go to Anowave Extensions -> Product labels
- 2) Click "Add new rule"
- 3) Set label status to "Enable"
- 4) Select store
- 5) Select label position by clicking on any of the 9 boxes available. The following positions are supported: TL (Top left corner), T (Top), TR (Top right corner), L (Left side), C (Center), R (Right side), BL (Bottom left corner), B (Bottom), BR (Bottom right corner)
- 6) Select label text color
- 7) Select label background color
- 8) Set date range (optional)
- 9) Go to "Conditions" tab
- 10) Select desired condition for label to appear
- 11) Click "Save"
