This Magento extension allows you to publish your Magento products to Facebook page directly from your admin panel.
It allows you to post single or multiple products at once to your personal or company page on Facebook and keep track on added products.
IMPORTANT: Requires PHP 5.4 or higher

This is the first extension of it's kind allowing you to effectively publish your Magento products to your personal or company page at Facebook. It works by enabling you to send single or multiple products to Facebook directly from your Magento admin and keep track of added products.

Facebook button
The extension adds a new button called "Post to Facebook" in product edit page, allowing admin to send product to facebook instantly. The button becomes inactive once product is sent to Facebook to prevent sending products several times. See Fig. 1

Your own application
The extension allows you to use your own application and respectively own application name. See Fig. 2 In this example "Posted by" says "Anowave Marketplace" but this can be replaced by your own application name.
It allows you to add credit to your store and your trademark as well.

Bulk post to Facebook page
The extension also supports bulk product post to Facebook Page. You can submit multiple products to Facebook in bulk using a new Mass action available in your products grid.

Requirements
This extension requires PHP 5.3 or higher due to the latest Facebook SDK 4 (Modified to work with PHP 5.3)
Installation
This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:
- Download/purchase the extension
- Unzip the file in a temporary directory
- Copy folder "app" and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will NOT replace existing code.
- Go to your admin panel and clear cache. Hit refresh on any of your Magento pages and you're done.
Enabling extension
Enabling extension requires 4 important steps:
- 1. Activate the extension
- 2. Create a Facebook Application
- 3. Configure the extension
- 4. Login to Facebook from Magento Admin panel to authorize your Facebook Application to modify your page.
See below instructions regarding each step.
Activating extension
To enable extension go to System -> Configuration -> Anowave Extension -> Facebook configuration and set "Enable Facebook autopost" to "Yes"
Creating a Facebook Application
To create a new Facebook application follow the steps below:
- 1. Go to https://developers.facebook.com/
- 2. Login with your Facebook account
- 3. Click "Apps" dropdown
- 4. Click "Create a New App"
- 5. Enter your App Name e.g "My shop"
- 6. Choose your App category
- 7. Enter captcha code if asked.
- 8. Click "Create app"
Once application is created you should see it's dashboard and more importantly the newly generated App ID and App Secret key. You need these to configure the extension. (See below):
Configuring the extension
To configure the extension go to System -> Configuration -> Anowave Extension -> Facebook configuration and follow the steps below:
- 1. Set "Enable autopost to Facebook" to "Yes"
- 2. Enter the newly generated App ID
- 3. Enter the App Secret
- 4. Enter your personal or company page. Note that you need to be page administrator.
Login to Facebook from Magento admin
Once your extension is configured and active, go to Catalog -> Manage products. You should see a link saying "Login to Facebook". Click the ling and follow the instructions at Facebook.
It's important to autohorize your application with the requested privileges so it can manage your page and in effect be able to add new posts to page.
Revoking App permissions
To revoke permissions granted to your app and start over you should first remove the app from your profile. Follow the steps below:
- 1. Go to Facebook and login to your profile
- 2. Go to "Settings" -> "Apps"
- 3. Find your app and click "Remove" icon
- 4. Logout from Facebook
- 5. Logout from Magento
- 6. Login to Magento
- 7. Go to "Manage products" and click "Login to Facebook"
- 8. Allow requested permissions
- 9. Done
