This Magento extensions will enable you to limit payment method based on individual customers.
Unlike other similar extension which allow for payment limit based on customer group, you can now limit payment methods based on individual customer.

How it works
The extension works by allowing admin to select allowed payment methods for particular user via payment selection directly in customer's edit screen. Payment methods are collected dynamically from all available payment methods which allows for recently added payment methods to appear in the list too. See below a screen of how allowed payment methods appear in customer's edit screen. You can also try the live demo.
IMPORTANT: The payment methods should be enabled first from Magento's System Configuration. If method is not enabled, it will still show as option in the customer's screen but it won't be active on the frontend.

Setting default allowed methods
The extension provides a configuration interface where you can set the default allowed payment methods for newly registered customers. Instead of editing each customer individually, you can choose which payment methods should be allowed for unassigned customers. This can be quite handy if you have a large customer list and want to restrict payments for the entire list. See Fig. 2

Installation
This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:
- Download/purchase the extension
- Unzip the file in a temporary directory
- Copy folder "app" and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will NOT replace existing code.
- Go to your admin panel and clear cache. Hit refresh on any of your Magento pages and you're done.
Working with the extension
Once installed the extension will add a new custom attribute in customer's edit page called "Allowed payment method(s)". It's a collection of multiple checkbox choice allowing you to select the allowed payment methods for the particular customer. All unchecked methods will not be available in the checkout process.
To set allowed payment methods for individual customer follow the steps below:
- 1) Go to Customers -> Manage customers
- 2) Click "Edit" next to the desired customer
- 3) Click "Account information" tab
- 4) Find "Allowed payment method(s)" section and select one or multiple allowed payment methods via the intuitive checkbox selection
- 5) Save customer

- 1) Go to System -> Configuration
- 2) Select "Filter Payment Configuration"
- 3) Select one or multiple payment methods (via holding the Ctrl key)
- 4) Save configuration
