This extension is an add-on to our popular extension Magento Google Tag Manager Enhanced Ecommerce (UA) Tracking enabling checkout steps/option tracking for Onestepcheckout extension for Magento.
This extension adds extra support for Onestepcheckout by allowing our Google Tag Manager Enhanced Ecommerce extension to track user activity at checkout screen. It sends payment and/or shipping options to Google and tracks user behaviour at checkout page.
This extension is designed for customers running both Onestepcheckout extension for Magento and our Magento Google Tag Manager Enhanced Ecommerce (UA) Tracking. It enhances the GTM tracking extension by enabling it to track checkout steps and/or options for Onestepcheckout to overcome the problems caused by the merged checkout steps.
Once installed, the extension will fire 4 checkout steps and it will also attempt to track checkout options such as selected payment and/or shipping method. The following steps are fired:
a) Step 1 - At basket page
b) Step 2 - At checkout page
c) Step 3 - At shipping selection
d) Step 4 - At payment selection
This module is NOT required if you are using standard Magento checkout and should purchase it only if you use 3rd party checkout module such as OneStepCheckout, Klarna etc.
