Magento 2 Tax/VAT Switcher

Overview

By default, Magento 2 allows for displaying prices including or excluding tax or both, however this setting is adjustable in admin only and cannot be changed by frontend customers. The Magento 2 Tax Switcher extension enables frontend customers to decide whether tax should be included in price display.

How it works

Customers can effectively browse the site and see prices with or without tax included and this can be changed on demand via simple dropdown added to the header of your site (automatically) or in any other place through XML layout update.

MaxMind GeoIP2 Precision services

The extension comes with built-in MaxMind GeoIP precision services integration allowing tax display to be automatically set depending on visitor's country. The extension will automatically detect visitor's country by using the IP address of the visitor and will automatically decide whether to show prices with or without tax depending on the rules defined in Tax Zones and Rates. It can also be adjusted to display prices with and without tax where required by law in countries such as Germany etc.

Important: The integration requires MaxMind GeoIP Precision services account.
