Magento 2 Signature Pad

Overview

Magento 2 Signature pad extension allows store owners to get a proof of digital delivery. It is designed for stores selling digital and downloadable goods. When activated, it will ask the customer to provide a digital signature confirming that module is downloaded. Prior to getting the file, customer will have to sign a digital pad with their mouse or finder. This data is then stored securely in Magento 2 and associated with the link being downloaded.

Proof of digital delivery

By default Magento is tracking the number of downloads of particilar downloadable product but store owner can't tell who has downloaded the product and whether they have downloaded it at least once. In effect, store owner can't proove (if required) that a digital good has been delivered. With this module, we have tried to mitigate the problem. When installed, the module will show a digital signature pad prior to downloading a product. Customer will then have to draw their sign with the mouse or a finger (on mobile device). This data is then stored securely in Magento. It provides a physical confirmation that a product has been downloaded.

Order/Product personalisation

The signature pad implementation can be used in a number of ways. This extension can be used to add order personalisation. In this mode, the module adds a new checkout step called "Personalise" where customer can draw a personal painging, a loving heart icon or whatever they feel personal. This data is the stored against each order and store owner can print this image and send it as additional gift cart with the order.
