Overview
Magento 2 Move Out of Stock products is an extension for Magento 2 which when enabled will automatically sort products on frontend depending on their stock status. When a product goes out of stock it will get listed in the end of the category page. Products in stock will appear higher in categories.

Purchased Magento 2 Move Out of Stock productsSimple yet very good extension, worked partially at first due to an issue with a third party AJAX infinite scroll but the team made a few tweaks and it worked eventually.

Installation from Command Line (Recommended)
This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:
- Download/purchase the extension
- Unzip the file in a temporary directory
- Copy directory contents and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will not replace existing code or file structure
- Enter the following at the command line:
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy (only if site is in production mode)
Upgrading database
If you need to upgrade the database, run the following command line:
php -f bin/magento setup:db-schema:upgrade
