Overview
We have designed Mini Cart Recommended Products for Magento 2 to allow store owners to focus customer attention to one or more products from the store. Instead of showing related products in product detail page which often can be left unnoticed by the customer especially if they use mobile device or have huge scroll, this module shows a list of related/recommended products directly in the mini shopping cart. It provides a non-intrusive way to drive attention to another products.

Great little module, worked out of the box. I was able to customize it with ease just from configuration panel which turned super handy with multi-store setup.
There was a small issue with cross-sell items not showing but the support team fixed it in an hour or so. Definately value for money.

User Guide & Documentation
Installation from Command Line (Recommended)
This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:
- Download/purchase the extension
- Unzip the file in a temporary directory
- Copy directory contents and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will NOT replace existing code.
- Disable the cache under System->Cache Management
- Enter the following at the command line:
php -f bin/magento module:enable --clear-static-content Anowave_Package
php -f bin/magento module:enable --clear-static-content Anowave_Recommend
php -f bin/magento setup:upgrade
- Check under Stores->Configuration->Advanced->Advanced that the module is present.
Manual installation

"Anowave_Package" => 1,

Upgrading database
If you need to upgrade the database, run the following command line:
php -f bin/magento setup:db-schema:upgrade
Creating a sticky product
A sticky product is a product that will appear in mini-cart always. It could be used to draw visitor attention to particular product in sale etc. To enable sticky product, check the configuration steps below:
1. Create a new attrubute with attrubute_code set to 'srticky'. While creating attribute, set it's scope to Global and also Use in Product listing dropdown to Yes (otherwise it may break frontend in case of a flat cataglog)
2. Add the attribute to your sets
3. Edit any of your products and set sticky to Yes, this will make it appear as sticky product in mini-cart
4. A sticky product will appear in mini-cart only if at least one product is added to it, otherwise mini-cart will appear as empty (Default Magento Behaviour)
