Adds a crousel view mode in Magento 2 allowing customer to quickly browse all products on screen using animated carousel.
The module is based on the famous and flexible Owl carousel. It supports all options/features of the plugin and creates a nice and appealing display for products. It can be activated for all categories or per specific categories only.
Overview
This extension for Magento 2 adds a "new" display mode for categories. Except for the standard List and Grid modes, once installed and activated, the module will add new mode - Carousel. In this mode products are displayed in a nice animated carousel. Customer can quickly browse products using horizontal arrows (left, right).
The new Carousel mode can be activated for all categories e.g. globally or per specific category only. It supports multiple display modes including single product per slide, adjustable number of products per slide etc.
It's based on Owl Carousel 2.x and supports all the options provided by this 3rd party jQuery plugin.

Carousel view mode

In "Carousel" view mode customers can browse the products by using animated drag and touch enabled carousel. It can display one or more products at a time and it adapts to device resolution. The extension allows admin to enable/disable carousel mode icon for all categories e.g. globally or per single category by using a new category attribute adjustable from category edit page in admin panel.

Purchased Magento 2 Advanced View modeIt's a good module and decent alternative to Quick view. We had to do a few adjustments but everything was pretty straight forward and easy to achieve.

User Guide & Documentation
Installation from Command Line (Recommended)
This extension can be installed in a few minutes, by going through the following steps:
- Download/purchase the extension
- Unzip the file in a temporary directory
- Copy directory contents and paste it in your Magento installation root directory. This extension will NOT replace existing code.
- Disable the cache under System->Cache Management
- Enter the following at the command line:
php -f bin/magento module:enable --clear-static-content Anowave_Viewmode
php -f bin/magento setup:upgrade
- Check under Stores->Configuration->Advanced->Advanced that the module is present.
Manual installation
- Download/purchase the extension

- Disable the cache under System->Cache Management
- Edit app/etc/config.php file and add two new elements:
"Anowave_Viewmode" => 1
- Disable the cache under System->Cache Management
- Check under Stores->Configuration->Advanced->Advanced that the module is present.
Upgrading database
If you need to upgrade the database, run the following command line:
php -f bin/magento setup:db-schema:upgrade
